Teamspeak is a freeware client that allows people to talk using the Voice Over Protocol. To use Teamspeak you need to:
- have a microphone that works with your computer.
- download the freeware client here. We are using the Teamspeak 3 version 3.0.0 - qt version 4.5.3.
- follow the install instruction from the installer utility.
- open the freeware client then click CONNECTIONS in the menu bar then click CONNECT.
- input any nickname you desire.
- in the "Server Address" textbox enter "vs3.tserverhq.com".
- the port number is 3004.
- click the "Connect" button.
- come on in and join the chat.
The following are our rules on the AllFurRadio Teamspeak. Please observe these rules while on the Teamspeak. Our server administrators will try their best to respect all users and help you with any problems you may have while on our server.
*PLEASE NOTE: By entering this teamspeak server, you agree UPON ENTRY that you consent to be recorded at any time by Staff and/or Management of AllFurRadio.
*PLEASE NOTE: Private rooms will have a padlock symbol behind the name. Public Rooms do not have this.
- Game Talk is for the gaming room: If you wish to talk about video games take it to the game room. This goes especially for Eve. NO EXCEPTIONS. A CEO will move you immediately, no exceptions.
- Respect: You WILL respect ALL staff members and patrons of the TeamSpeak.
- Authority: You will respect it or you will be removed, no questions asked. If you disrespect the authority will result in Step 2. Second time is Step 3.
- Push to Talk: If you are going to be loud on the Mic, please use push to talk. Other people do not want to hear if you are talking to someone in the background. If you don't know how to use push to talk: ASK SOMEONE!
- NO DRAMA!!! DRAMA WILL RESULT IN STEP 3.
- NO SLANDERING! If you want to vent, go it into a private room please.
- Rooms: Creating rooms is permitted, but if you want to register a room you have to request it from a CEO to do so. If you want to make a room do not register it.
- Server Admins: No one but the CEOs use the power of the SA to correct or enforce a rule on ANY staff member. Your job as SA is to keep the peace by warning or banning (if needed) of non-staff members only. Only CEOs may correct staff members. However, you still must respect the other SA's or be removed.
- The CEOs are Markus Damone's word: CEOs/Network Heads reserve the right to deem anything unsuitable for TS, however the CEO/Network Head must report to Markus about anything done under this catch all policy.

To enable Push-To-Talk:
- Settings ---> Options
- Click Capture
- Click Push-To-Talk.
- Click button next to "Push-To-Talk" Default says "No Hotkey Assigned".
- Choose a button for push-to-talk.
- Click Apply or OK
